About This Site

King County custody and record questions often involve a jail, police department, and court with different responsibilities. This private reference site collects the official routes and explains the limits, including DAJD’s confidential booking-photo policy. It does not host a gallery or official records.

Purpose and scope

We built this site to make the record path clearer. DAJD holds adult jail custody and booking material, KCSO holds Sheriff reports, city departments hold their own reports, and courts explain what happened after a booking. Washington’s public register rule does not make every jail file or booking photograph public. The home page connects those official sources without claiming to be one of them.

Information available here

The site provides records-oriented explanations rather than copies of people’s records.

  • DAJD current-custody and dated booking-data paths.
  • County and city records-request contacts.
  • Court, WADOC, notification, and warrant-verification routes.
  • City-specific source boundaries for Seattle, Bellevue, and Kent.

What this service cannot do

This is a privately operated reference service. It has no government affiliation and cannot release a person, confirm a live status, change an official record, post bail, arrange a visit, or provide legal advice. Only the responsible office can answer an official custody or records question.

Current custody, charges, release, and court status must be verified with the agency or court that maintains the record.

Search partners

Some pages contain search boxes supplied by third-party providers. Those providers set their own results, terms, and pricing. If a visitor uses a partner tool and completes a paid signup, the site may receive a referral fee. That support does not give this site control over a partner’s service or data.
